Lipo Lasers: Cost of the Treatment

Lipo laser sessions get expensive in two ways: (a) the individual sessions are expensive, and (b) a treatment process, if done in the right manner, takes a number of sessions and hence the cost builds up.

First of all, let's say that the cost varies. There is no single number that can be assigned. The cost could go from a few hundred dollars to many thousand dollars. There are reasons that the cost varies, primary driving factors being the technology being used (and the corresponding safety and hassle etc. involved), the number of sessions needed (which depends upon the cost per session and the condition of the patient taking it) and who does it (a spa club, or a consulting doctor who advises but does not stay through the process, or a doctor fully attending and conducting the process etc.).

Just to get a ballpark idea of how much it could cost any why, let us do the following calculation.

Usually, it would be around $200-$1,000 per session on an average, depending upon who is doing the session (spa, doctor etc.), the technology being used, the part of the body (thigh, tummy, chin and so on) and the expertise needed for the specific case under consideration.

Then, it could take as few as 2-3 sessions, to as many as 10-12 sessions.

All in all, the cost tends to be in the range of $2,000 to $6,000 for all practical purposes (and usually $3,000-$5,000 for most cases). Sure, it could be more or less. But prepare for this range of cost before you start trying, and then vary your expectations depending upon what you hear and what you actually need to get done.

The lipo laser (and LED) machines being very expensive, the clinics are also not left with much option to avoid the high charges. The cost of buying these machines incurred by the clinics unfortunately get passed to the customers (patients). Hence the massive cost. And unfortunately, the cost is unavoidable.
